you don’t need an expensive bearing press, or even a skate tool with a bearing adaptor on it…everywhere you skate you automatically have the perfect tool with you…your trucks

to remove a bearing from a wheel, remove the axel nut from the truck, slide the wheel off until the tip of the axel is in only as far as the thickness of the outside bearing, then twist and pull…you will end up with the wheel in your hand and the bearing on the axel…turn the wheel over and repeat…no tool, no problem!

1989 powell g-bones 64mm 87a retro re-issue remove the axel nut..don't lose the tiny washer insert just to the depth of the bearing and twist about halfway up the threads is enough for leverage make sure the axel does not go into the center spacer...you will feel it flip the wheel over and repeat with the outside bearing insert up to the end of the threads and twist that's all there is to it...repeat times 4 and don't lose any spacers or washers! a skate tool with a bearing puller...same idea but heavier to carry
